Comment ko lang sa wording nung isa sa batayan;

Pagkalulong sa droga, alak at sugal. (Sounds like either one of the spouses has to be involved in all these vices)

Dapat:

Pagkalulong sa droga, alak o sugal. (Much better version to remove ambiguity)

I don't agree, kasi if you check sa mga bansang legal and divorce, hindi rin nila na solve yung main purpose nya sa society, bagkus mas dumami pa ang single mother at mas binibigyan ito ng laya or rason ang isang tao na magdivorce na lang basta basta pagka hindi na ito masaya sa kanyang partner. It give more access on people to be less accountable on their mistakes and it will be passed on sa children and the cycle goes on.

the laws for divorce for each country are different. lalo na sa atin na magsisimula pa lang.
we can't just apply for divorce just stating "irreconcilable differences". mahigpit ang grounds for divorce na isinusulong sa dito sa atin... halos kelangan kriminal yung partner para lang ma-cancel yung marriage.

I've read a certain story circulating from facebook about sa isang OFW/seaman from Mindanao. apparently, nilustay yung pera, may kalaguyo na ibinahay pa. i think may anak pa sa affair partner nya. nagmamakaawa pa yung seaman na umuwi sa bahay nila. this is a good example to qualify for a petition for divorce. it is just plain cruel to not allow the victimized partner to suffer for his/her partner's blatant disrespect and infidelity.

also, tungkol sa batas ng women and child abuse, that is totally different and separate sa divorce. the husband may get imprisoned, but the marriage is still in effect. that is just one of the pre-requisites to be able to qualify for a divorce petition.
