Window key + R (opens run)
type services.msc
search for Windows Update, double-click or right-click then properties.
Adjust the startup type from automatic to disabled, then press Stop button below the startup type
press apply/ok... done

yan din gamit ko effective talaga yan . dami ko na na test na mga application at script para madisable ang auto update ni windows 10 pero yan talaga ang pinaka effective sa lahat

check mo ung startup at advance startup mo tapos disable mo ung mga walang kwentang application na hindi mo naman kelangan

lahat po ba ng windows update kasama na yung mga apps ma disable na rin po ba?. okay lang na iclose kapag na apply ko na win.update blocker. thanks

Windows update lang, manual lahat ng apps (pwera nalang kung naka on auto-update ung mismong app)
ganyan din ang nagyayari sa akin boss,. nilagyan ko na lang ng "null" na proxy, para di maka access ang windows update. ito ang nilagay ko. makikita sya sa "networks proxy setting" proxy: 127.0.0.1 port: 80 . gumagamit na lang ako ng firefox para maka browse sa internet. ginagamit kasi ng chrome ang proxy mismo ng system kaya di sya pwede gamitin pang internet

Pwede mo na iclose yan after mo iapply.Pero may nababasa akong reports lately na hindi na raw enough sa ibang system yung Windows Update Blocker 1.1 lang so inintegrate nila yang app dito sa isa pang scipt para doon sa mga affected users:

Ako kase chinecheck ko yung unit ko gamit yung Netlimiter kung nagdadownload ng Windows Update and buti nalang so far walang dinadownload na Cumulative Updates kahit Windows Update Blocker 1.1 lang yung gamit ko.Kung nagdadownload pa rin ng Cumulative update sa system mo kapag gamit mo yung Windows Update Blocker 1.1,try mo yung wumt_wrapper_script.
Windows Update Blocker 1.1 lang ang meron sa PC ko dahil 1607 and 1709 ang gamit kong build.Iniiwasan ko munang magupgrade papuntang 1803 dahil bandang September ilalabas nanaman yung bagong build na may LTSB version.

subukan ko to, hesitant talga ako gumamit ng win 10 kc auto update eh naka pocket wifi lng ako.
