Lets talk about Castor Oil (for thinning hair)

Good day po!

Actually ginawa ko tong thread kasi ginagamit ko to ngayon. Im only 24 and meron na kong thinning hair T__T nakaka disappoint lang kasi yung kabilang side hindi naman ganun. With my problem, nag basa ako ng nag basa about sa net for natural remedies and pwede gawin sa bahay without the help of a professional.

Im trying this for a month now. Actually gamit kong brand e yung Apollo which is i think not effective kasi hindi naman daw ito cold pressed and parang ginagamit lang ata to sa pang purga talaga haha. Ive read a forum that says yung apollo brand daw e hindi effective kasi its made for purgative purposes.

I also bought a Coconut Oil (Cold Pressed) sa Watson 250ml (270+ php) pinag hahalo ko sya with Castor Oil. Mabilis humaba yung buhok ko, naging soft at tingin ko healthy na rin pero hindi sya kumapal. Siguro dahil nga dun sa Castor Oil na hindi Cold Pressed.

But I'm still planning to try this out, but this time I'm going to buy a Cold Pressed Castor Oil. I'll buy 1 in healthy options in case na mag ka stock na. I'll update you guys with this.

Just want to share my experience with you guys, hope it helps.

usually ito yung mga mababasa mo regarding castor oil (for hair treatment):

*Castor Oil thickens eyelashes and eyebrows
- Rub a little castor oil over the base of your eyelashes before bed. This prevents thinning and promotes rapid growth, leading to thicker and fuller lashes. In fact, many commercial products for eyelashes contain castor oil.
To thicken sparse eyebrows, rub a little castor oil over the brow line before bed.

*Castor Oil prevents hair loss and regenerates hair
- The anti-bacterial and anti-fungicidal properties of Ricinoleic Acid in castor oil protects the scalp and hair from infections which can cause hair loss. The Omega-9 fatty acids in castor oil also nourish the hair and prevent the scalp from drying.
Rubbing castor oil on your scalp and the roots of your hair will regenerate new hair growth within months. This will also thicken thinning hair.

*Castor Oil keeps hair looking soft and shiny
- Castor oil is a humectant as it draws moisture into the hair and skin. Applying castor oil on hair will keep it looking soft, shiny and strong.

*Castor Oil softens thick calluses and removes corns
- Castor oil application will soften any rough or thickened skin, including calluses and corns. To treat corns, apply castor oil over your feet and put cotton socks on before going to bed. (Incidentally, sleeping with castor oil socks on will also soothe painful heels and foot pain.)

There are some cold pressed, cold processed Castor Oil for sale there. I am not sure though how genuine those products are as I haven't tried any of them yet. But perhaps you can ask the seller and try the product.

hirap nga maghanap ng cold-pressed, sinubukan ko rin yung apollo, hindi talaga effective, at least that's what I believe.. hindi ko susukuan ang kilay ko.hahaha.. hindi ko alam saan makakabili ng cold-pressed eh, maybe online pero masyadong mahal...

Just went out this weekend, suddenly hindi parin ako makakita ng Cold Pressed Castor Oil. T_T my only option would be Healthy Options (SM Manila) been there but still doesnt have stock. I'll use it for my Hair and OCM (Oil Cleansing Method).

If ever po meron sana may alam kung san makakabili please help us . Masyado daw mabenta sa Healthy Options since ang dami daw gumagamit nito for OCM and Eyelashes

Thanks po pag may time try ko. medyo busy kasi this week e. I can only go to SM Manila since ito yung pinaka malapit sakin.

May nakita ako sa olx kaso, im not sure kung cold pressed talaga yung castor oil na binibenta at im not sure kung legit talaga yung product.

Vaniderm (VCO + Aloe Vera + Gugo) 100ml = 198php / 248ml = 348php.

ill give feed back pag may progress dito sa vaniderm habang nag hihintay parin ng stock ng castor oil T___T

Ma'am, kulang kulang po 500 sa Healthy Options. Kaso nag kaka ubusan po ng stock. Meron daw po sa MOA kaso walang time to go there.

Sir yung vaniderm po nabili ko po sa may Mercury Drugstore. Mercury Drugstore palang yata ang distributor nila.


My comments about vaniderm:
*Hindi sya mabula - problema ko to kasi lagi akong naka wax e ang hirap tanggalin ng wax ko kaya ginagawa ko e sinasabon ko muna (Mediherb Shampoo Soap - 70php sa mercury / watsons) effective kasi pangtanggal ng wax tas tsaka ko gagamitin yung vaniderm.
*Medyo iba yung amoy - given na dahil organic sya? pero ayos lang naman yung amoy nya medyo matapang lang yung scent.

pag naubos ko po yung 100ml sasabihin ko po sa inyo kung effective sya.

galing ako ng sm manila last week, meron silang tinda kaso nag iisa nlng 400+ ata ung price.. oo TS ugn apollo hindi talaga yan effective kasi pang purga lng talaga yan.. same tayo ako 26 years old na wala pdn talaga akong balbas, kaya nag decide ako gumamit ng Castor Oil, 1 - 2 months na ko gumagamit medyo my tumubo naman sa baba ko then sa side burn. kaso hindi makapal..

PS: for BEARD purpose pala yung sakin, hindi buhok sa ulo..

I used it para tumubo rin yung balbas ko.. so far so good sa mercury drug merong minoxidil 5% 500php or try sa olx kirkland yung brand kung gusto mo ng much cheaper...
