sir, nagbigay kasi ng 2 options yung nagjailbreak

1st: i jejailbreak nya with ios 6.1.3 but thethered sya t hindi pwedeng malowbatt or patayin kasi kelangan pa iboot via pc to make it work again

2nd: downgrade to ios 4.1 but it is okay to make it dead batt or i turn off.

so i chose 2nd. but now, i realized, hindi ko pala magagamit yung mga apps i need for my school. can you help me with this please?

Tama naman po yung sinabi sa inyo ng nag-jailbreak ng device ninyo. Tethered jailbreak lang po talaga kasi ang meron (as of now) for iPhone 4 6.1.3.

Kung may saved SHSH blobs po kayo ng older versions ng iOS firmware, puwede po kayong mag-restore doon. You can use po TinyUmbrella or iFaith to check which SHSH blobs are available for your device to use.

Yes, it is possible po IF you have the required or necessary saved (valid & complete) SHSH blobs.

Factory unlocked po ba yang iPhone 4 niyo or hindi?

Nung una i had problems activating it with apple since wala na ung original sim so i brought it sa isang cellphone repair shop and they successfully activated it pero since its locked itouch nlng sya now.

But ang problem ko po now is most of the native apps (i.e. mail, calendar, safari, maps etc) crashes after a few days and ang masaklap pa asa africa na po ko before siya nagluko..

Ok lang kahit iTouch na lang sya now at least nagagamit ko naman kaya lang ang added frustration ay ang crashing native apps.. I hope and wish matulungan nyo po ko.. Salamat ng Marami and pacencya npo sa history ng phone ko napahaba.. More power SB..

"Hacktivated" lang po yang iPhone 4 6.1.3 ninyo, sir. Either redsn0w or sn0wbreeze po was used to hacktivate it.

Puwede niyo pong i-restore to iOS 6.1.3 ulit yang device ninyo, tapos "hacktivate" again with redsn0w or sn0wbreeze.

Pagkatapos niyo pong pindutin yung PrtSc, open niyo po ang MS Paint. Then click niyo yung 'Paste' para ma-paste doon yung screen shot na kinuha niyo sa computer screen niyo.

di po gumana sa akin yung idetector at iboot...may nabasa po ako na di sya gumagana sa windows xp or something..ti nry ko po yung usb view...at yung lumabas po na code ay [ iboot-359.3] so it means na old boot po itong 3gs na i uupgrade ko?...
may link po ba or thread (steps by steps if posible)on kung paano po i upgrade ito on 6.1.3?pasensya napo..

i was trying to help my sister have her phone updated to 6.0.1 i thought i will be able to make it using itunes connected to my netbook...but i was wrong....i didnt consider reading post hir in symbianize.com first before doing so...i dont even know the original carrier of this iphone 3gs and its specifications when she bought it as 2nd hand.....

but there was an instance a month ago i think when she also tried to update this 3gs directly using wifi but it wont allow her to go on and finish the update and her phone was stock in apple logo..and the tech was able to restore it to a 4.0 if i'm not mistaken....how will i resolve this issue?... since i restore this 3gs to factory settings i was not able to activate it because its asking for a sim card of the original carrier and the openline was no longer there even the jailbreak.....responding to this will be greatly appreciated

Ang Error 1604 po ay lumalabas kapag nagre-restore kayo ng inyong iPhone with a custom IPSW at hindi ito properly nakalagay sa state na "Pwned DFU mode".

Para po mailagay ninyo properly into "Pwned DFU mode" ang inyong iDevice, gamitin po ninyo ang iREB. It effectively shows you how to place your iDevice to "Pwned DFU mode" at sasabihin nito sa inyo kung successful ang ginawa niyo or not.

Posible din po na mali ang IPSW na ginamit niyo sa sn0wbreeze right from the start pa lang ng paggawa ng inyong custom IPSW. Ano po ba ang designation ng inyong iPhone 4? Is it:

--> iPhone3,1 - f8c53328656f2708e1d2bcb793f12ae46dd4eb23 (MD5 hash ng 6.1.3 IPSW)
--> iPhone3,2 - 5eb08bf9a952943fd23515fdcb9f7590e284b6a2 (MD5 hash ng 6.1.3 IPSW)
--> iPhone3,3 - 42f09fdc2e35426cc402ee683efb3b5e62dfe46a (MD5 hash ng 6.1.3 IPSW)

Para makasiguro kayo sa integrity nung IPSW na na-download niyo, i-compare niyo yung MD5 hash nito sa MD5 hash na nakikita niyo sa itaas.

Good evening, sir. I am not sir marvin but I will be more than glad to assist you with your problem.

You need to check the SERIAL NUMBER of the iPhone 3GS. If it is found to be eligible/qualified for the 06.15.00 iPad baseband update, then it could be unlocked "temporarily" with ultrasn0w.

The iPhone 3GS has a jailbreak on iOS 6.1.3. If it is an old bootrom 3GS, it will be an untethered jailbreak. If it is a new bootrom 3GS, it will just be a tethered jailbreak. You can use iDetector to conveniently provide you with this information.

Ang suspetsa ko po diyan sa sitwasyon ng iPhone niyo ngayon ay na-stuck ito sa "Soft DFU mode" loop. Nangyayari po yan kapag nag-restore kayo sa isang custom IPSW na hindi angkop sa inyong iDevice (i.e., mali ang IPSW na ginamit sa sn0wbreeze nung ginawa ang custom IPSW).

Ang kailangan niyong gawin diyan ngayon ay mai-restore ito sa iTunes with the stock 6.1.3 IPSW. Kailangan mailagay niyo to normal/regular DFU mode ang inyong iPhone 4 tapos mag-"Shift+Restore" kayo sa iTunes.

Para malagay niyo to normal/regular DFU mode, press and hold both the Home and Power/Sleep/Wake button for 10 seconds. Then release the Power/Sleep/Wake but continue pressing the Home button for another 10 seconds. Dapat po ay black screen lang ang iPhone niyo after niyo gawin ito para successful ang pagka-DFU (normal/regular) mode niya. Kung may mag-a-appear po na "connect to iTunes" symbol ay hindi po DFU mode yan kundi recovery mode lang.

Sure naman po ko don sa IPSW na ginamit ko before using it with snowbreeze kasi yun din ang gamit ko kapag irerestore ko sya sa itunes dahil nagstuck up na and working naman yun nga lang di ko sya magamit kasi di ko na maactivate dahil la na yung original sim...

I try ko nman po siguro sya using Redsnow for a change...pls advice..

Tethered jailbreak lang po kasi yan kaya kailangan niyo po yan i-boot tethered with either of the two tools I mentioned above.
