Flashing CWM and Rooting Guide For GT-S7392

Rooting Tutorial for Samsung Galaxy Trend


DISCLAIMER : I am not responsible if this bricks your device, or you void your warranty. Try it on your own.


Things to remember before getting started:

• Charge your device At least up-to 50%.

• Enable Usb Debugging on your Device. (Settings > Developer > USB Debugging Check it.)

• Disable your Anti- Virus Protection Mode

• Install Samsung Kies for your Device Driver.

• Download the vRoot application:

Let's Get Started!

•Now, connect your Samsung Galaxy Trend Duos S7392 to computer via USB cable.

•vRoot application will automatically detect your device.

•Finally click on the Root button to start the rooting process.

•Once completed successfully, vRoot application will reboot the phone automatically.

•SuperSU installed and your device is rooted now.



Method 2: Flashing ClockWorkMod (CWM) + Rooting Tutorial.


Things to remember before getting started:

• Charge your device At least up-to 50%.

• Enable Usb Debugging on your Device. (Settings > Developer > USB Debugging Check it.)

• Download odin v3 from here

• Download Custom recovery from here

• Download My Modified SuperSu Pro from here : SuperSuPro-v2.01-by-ARM.zip

The binary zip file is your way to root
And the superuser apk is the app the gives permission to apps.


Lets Get Started!

• Put the Downloaded "SuperSuPro-v2.01-by-ARM.zip" to your sdcard or internal in your GT-S7392.

•Turn Off Device.

• Boot to Download Mode by pressing and holding Volume Down + Home + Power button (long press until the boot screen appear), now press Volume Up key to proceed to Download Mode.

• Flash the custom recovery through Odin Follow Steps Below.

1. Extract "CWM_Recovery.zip" . You will get a "rec_CM.tar.md5" package.
2. Start your device into Download Mode by pressing Vol Down + HOME + POWER button on your Galaxy Trend S7392.
3. Run ODIN3 v3.09 and connect your device to your PC using USB cable.
4. Browse for the .tar.md5 file from "AP" section. Select the recently extracted .tar.md5 package.
5. Flash it.

• After the restart, turn it off again.

• Boot to CWM Recovery by pressing Vol UP + Home Button + Power ON.

• Choose Install from sdcard and Flash SuperSuPro-v2.01-by-ARM.zip

• After Flashing boot to system and check if your device is rooted.

Flashing Tutorial For GT-S7392

Things to remember before getting started:

• Charge your device At least up-to 50%.

• Enable Usb Debugging on your Device.

• Install Samsung Kies for your Device Driver.

• Download Odin v3.09

• Download Stock Firmware For GT-S7392 (OPENLINE)

• By Doing This all of your apps , Games & Files will be deleted.

Let's Get Started!

• Boot to Download Mode by pressing and holding Volume Down + Home + Power button (long press until the boot screen appear), now press Volume Up key to proceed to Download Mode.

• Open Odin v3.09 as Administrator.

• Now connect your Galaxy Trend Duos S7392 to your computer via USB cable.

• In Odin3 screen, you should see a COM Port number like “0:[COM7]” at ID:COM section and “Added!” text at the message box. This means your device has been detected by Odin3.

• Make sure that, only the “Auto Reboot” , “F. Reset Time” and "AP"options are checked. See Screenshot
Now, extract the downloaded firmware zip file, you’ll find a firmware file with extension .tar.md5
In Odin screen, click on AP button and select the firmware file with .tar.md5 extension.
Now, click on the Start button to begin the installation process, wait few moments.

• Once completed, you would see “PASS!” message in ID:COM port having green background

• Your phone should automatically reboot after completion

• You can now disconnect your phone from computer

• Finish​

I'm still looking for it.

Pag nahiram ko yung Galaxy Trend ng Kuya ko mamaya try ko mag unlock.

Lock sim kasi sa Smart yung sa Plan.

Sana may makita akong nag uunlock.

may probability ba na mag error yung pagroot? saka may pagkakaiba po ba ng pagroroot pag 32bit ang gamit compare sa 64? salamat po

Nope.. Kahit may virus ang PC wala naman yan magagawa sa pag roroot ng phone natin.

oo nga pala yung Vroot nadedetect sya as virus malware lagyan nyo na lang ng exception or disable nyo muna yung protection mode ng AV nyo.

sir walang pc requirement ung vroot na binigay nyo po di ba? naka on po ba yung cp pag kinabit sa pc? saka po kapag nagpop up po yung new found hardware wizard kailangan ko pa po ba install pero madedetect po ni vroot ung cp kaya dapat di po ba hindi na kailangan?

Yup, saksak mo lang habang naka ON mag rereboot yan after ma-root..

Yung sa New Found Hardware Wizard automatic na yan hayaan mo lang as long as na install mo na yung Samsung Drivers madedetect na yan ng phone mo.

Yung link ng Samsung Drivers na sa 2nd Post kapag hindi pa din madetect yung Samsung Kies i-install mo tapos plug mo yung device mo para ma install yung driver.

Sir. Bakit po Nakalagay S7392 is connected tas no root permissions?? Hindi ko po tinuloy ung pag roroot dahil magkaiba.. kaso safe po ba sya??

Dapat po na sa Download Mode kayo nakapag boot pag mag fflash ng firmware para mainstall sya sa device.
Pag ka na turn off po yung phone nyo while flashing sa ODIN pwede pong ma bootloop yung device nyo.
Kaya dapat po pag mag fflash dapat At least up-to 50% po yung batterya.

Hindi po sya makakapag Boot. Stuck sa Logo or pa ulit ulit pong mag rerestart.

Nag root ka po ba?

Or nag fflash po ng Firmware? medyo may katagalan po yan mag install ng panigbagong firmware pa antay na lang po.

kanina pa. siguro 30mins na. i turned the unit off, then ginawa ko yung sabay press ang volume down, power, and home.

Sir ito pong Odin gamitin mo po. Download para walang problema.

maling link po pala yung na sa first page na odin. kaka update ko lang din po nung TUT sa 3rd page.
