well.. mabilis nga... to be expected from xfce
yung theme parang flat android merged with win98... looks nice... still, i kinda grown out of it and a matter of personal preference
i guess this is nice on systems with older hardware. it performs really well even on a vm
madali rin access sa multiple app repos since may graphical links sila na readily accessible at hindi nakatago sa kung saan

i'm really looking forward to new distros based on debian 12. this is very nice

Medyo sluggish kasi ng konti performance ng mxlinux sa laptop ko. Siguro mag stick nalang muna ako dito sa peppermint tutal media consumption lang naman purpose ng old laptop ko. Amd dual core 1.4ghz & 1.4gb ram lang kasi hardware ko.

Try mo debian 12 stable xfce kung media consumption lang naman pala use-case. Suggest ko if you are able to do minimal install ay mas ok kung hindi naman kahit yung normal install lang tapos tanggalin mo na lang ibang bloat na hindi mo kailangan.

On the other hand, kung media consumption lang naman stick ka na lang sa kahit anong nagwowork sa system mo ngayon. Pero worth trying nga ang MX. Yung pinakaluma kong laptop dito sa wife ko naka MX. Naaalala ko lang i-update yun dati mga once or twice a year pero ngayon matagal ko na hindi nabibisita OK pa naman.

Hindi ko pa natry peppermint pero parang lightweight talaga ata yan ang alam ko.

Pwede mo din consider iba pang distro na may DE lighter than XFCE gaya ng LXQt and LXDE.

sa wakas! na-solve ko na rin mga issue ko sa linux mint setup ko.
yung realtek usb wifi (802.11ac capable) adapter... gumana after manually updating the kernel to v6.2
yung printing issue ko. epson l3150 series. puro scrambled text lang lumalabas sa print-out... pero yung scanner feature nya, wala naman issue at gumagana naman ng maayos. gumagana yung printer dati ng walang issue sa ubuntu at pop!os. ang problema ko naman sa mga naunang yun, yung scanner. kelangan umaandar na yung printer/scanner during boot. di maka-connect yung scanner software pag pina-andar mo lang dahil gagamitin mo. that issue is now resolved.
so... nahanap ko yung driver from some open-source website na recompiled daw from post-script printer driver. after installing yung deb package, pupunta ng printer properties, tapos settings > make and model > change
tapos sundan lang yung recommendation dun, then "use the new PPD as is"
now, there would be very little reason for me to use windows

nakapag upgrade na sa wakas ng RAM at SSD. laki ng inimproved ng laptop ko in terms of web browsing. wala nang sluggish experience. pero limitado parin dahil sa processor. haha btw ang ganda ng linux mint.

mga tol, kamusta performance ng Wine at Bottles via flatpak. sinubukan ko, kaso bakit ayaw gumana ng mga .exe files ko, hindi nag lalaunch.

pinaka unang linux distro na ginamit ay Debian.hanggang ngayon debian ang main Linux OS ginagamit ko.
eto kasi ang advice ng isang member dito nung naghahanap ako ng linux distro na pinaka stable na gamitin.paminsan minsan gumagamit ako ng ibng distro like kodachi,linux mint.sa ngayon ang window OS ginagamit ko nalang kapag Photoshop,
