Nakakabrick po ba ang pagroroot at paguunlock ng bootloader?

As long as sinunod mo ng tama ang mga instruction at nakainstall ang mga drivers na kaylangan ( i.e adb, fastboot, flashmode driver) wala naman dapat ikatakot.​

Mawawala ba ang pagkaroot ng phone ko pag nagupdate ako ng firmware?

Bootloop po iyan. Naginstall ka po ba ng custom rom? sinunod mo ba ng maige ang mga steps? Kung oo, subukan mong ulitin. Tandaan na wag ititick ang reboot device option sa Aroma installer. Sa halip iexit sa aroma tapos gamitin ang reboot device ng CWM. Kapag ganun pa rin magflash ka na lang ng stock rom gamit ang flashtool​

Ang flashtool ay isang software na ginagamit sa pagflaflash ng mga firmware sa sony phones. Kung papano naman, maaari mong tingnan ang thread na to:

natural lang po sa mga smartphones ang mabilis na pagdrain ng battery lalu na kung heavy user ka. Itry mo ideactivate ang Auto-Sync at 3G kapag hindi ginagamit. Makakatulong din kung aalisin ang mga bloatware na nakainstall sa phone natin. Mainam din kung icacalibrate natin ang battery once every month.

Paano po un?

Icharge muna ang battery hanggang 100%. kapag full na bunutin at pumasok sa cwm. Go to Advanced ---> Wipe Battery Stats. Tapos reboot. Kapag nakita mo na hindi pa 100% charge mo ulit

PROCEDURE:

1. Pumunta sa Settings --> Security --> Mark "Unknown sources".
   Settings --> Developer options --> Mark USB debugging
   Settings --> Xperia --> connectivity --> USB connection mode --> select MSC mode
   
2. Connect your phone to PC at intayin na mainstall ang adb drivers. Kung hindi maginstall go to post #2 para sa mga driver.
   
3. Download this rooting toolkit. Mirror 1 | Mirror 2 | Mirror 3 | Mirror 4
   
4. I-run ang nadownload na file. Madedetect na nito ang iyong phone. I-click lang ang "root" at intayin na matapos.
   
5. Kung sa unang try eh hindi gumana, ulitin lang ulit ang mga steps.

How to Unlock your BOOTLOADER​

► Unlocking the Bootloader will void the phone's warranty.
► Unlocking the Bootloader will wipe the phone's data.
► Do not perform Software Update once phone's Bootloader has been unlocked or else it will be bricked.

1. Download FASTBOOT PACKAGE+drivers

2. Go to this LINK

3. At the bottom click 'Continue' and enter your IMEI (type *#06# to find out), name and email address

4. The site will give your UNLOCK KEY. Save it in a notepad.

5. Extract fastboot.rar and open fastboot folder.

6. Hold SHIFT and right click on the background of the folder. Select " Open Command Command Window here ".

7. Connect your phone in fastboot mode (turn phone off, hold menu button and plug in USB Cable)

MENU BUTTON IS THE LAST BUTTON AT THE RIGHT.

8. In the cmd windows type in fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce getvar version.

If it returned a value, It means the phone is connected properly.

9. Type in fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0xKEY and replace KEY with the key provided in step 4.

HOW TO FLASH CUSTOM KERNEL​

​

1. Download your desired kernel - Dapat 2 files ang idodownload mo. Ang una ay ung pinaka-kernel mismo na iflaflash natin gamit ang fastboot. Ang ikalawa naman ay yung wifi-modules na kaylangan para makaconnect via wifi.
   
2. Ilagay ang dinownload na kernel sa fastboot folder. Kadalasan ay .img ang file extension ng kernel. Kung .zip o .rar yan iextract nyo muna.
   
3. Ilagay naman ang wifi-module sa iyong sdcard. .zip o .rar ang extension nito.
   
   
4. Turn off your phone.
   
5. Hold down the 3rd key of your phone (on the right) then connect the USB cable to your PC. Malalaman mong tama ang pagkakaconnect mo kung may kulay blue na iilaw sa notification led. Kung maghahanap ang PC ng driver para dito iDL lang ang all-in-one driver na nasa 2nd post.
   
6. Open your fastboot folder then Right Click anywhere inside the folder and Select "Open Command Line Here". Mas mainam kung sa windows 7 na PC ito gagawin. May nagfefeedback kasi na hindi daw lumalabas ang option na ito sa windows xp.
   
7. type:
   

   fastboot flash boot boot.img

   
   Please note na yung boot.img yung kernel. Kung anu man ang name ng kernel na dinownload mo ay yun dapat ang itatype mo o pwede din naman na irename mo na lang ang kernel sa boot.img​
8. Pag natapos na magflash pwede na alisin sa PC. Mapapansin nyo na nagiba na ang bootscreen ng phone nyo(unless yung advanced stock kernel ang ginamit nyo). Pindutin lang ang down volume key ng paulit ulit habang nagboboot para makapasok sa CWM ( clockworkmod )
   
9. Pag nakapasok na sa CWM, punta lang sa "Install zip from sd card" then "Choose zip from sdcard" tapos yung wifi modules naman ang hanapin nyo at iflash sa CWM.

HOW TO INSTALL CUSTOM ROM​

WARNING: User's data may lost. Back up first!​

1. Download your desired custom ROM. Ilagay sa sdcard mo.
   
2. Siguraduhin na pareho ang based ROM ng custom rom na gagamtin mo sa current rom mo. Halimbawa, naka GB rom ka pa at gusto mo ng ICS custom rom. Dapat magflash ka muna ng ICS stock firmware bago ka maginstall ng ICS custom rom. Mas maganda din kung laging bago o updated na stock rom ang gagagmitin mo.
   
3. For unlocked Bootloader, magflash ng kahit anung custom kernel na gusto mo.
   
4. For locked Bootloader, iroot ang phone mo gamit ang tutorial sa second post. Pagkatapos iroot maginstall ng CWM. try xpart.
   
5. Magback up ng mga data at files. Pwedeng gumamit ng titanium backup.
   
6. Boot to CWM
   
7. Wipe Data/Factory Reset
   
8. Mounts and Storage --> Format /System
   
9. Advanced > Wipe Battery Stats
   
10. Install zip from SD card > piliin ang custom rom
    
11. Sundin lang ang mga steps kung may AROMA installer ang rom na iinstall mo.
    
12. After Complete Installation untick "reboot" and select reboot in CWM.
    
    Hayaan nyo muna na nakastandby ang phone nyo ng mga ilang minuto.
    

NOTE:

Kung manggagaling kayo sa GB tapos gusto nyo eh ICS custom rom, kaylangan nyo muna magflash ng stock ICS firmware. Ganun din kung galing kayo ng ICS tapos babalik kayo sa GB.

Requirements :

2. Modified Kernel that has OC feature (Doomkernel)
3. SetCPU app


► With the provided modified Kernel above (Doomkernel) your processor can have a maximum of 1.6 Ghz instead of 1.4 Ghz speed.

► Now to maximize it to 1.6 Ghz, all you need to do is to download SetCPU app from Market/Blackmarket Alpha.

► Set Scaling to "Performance" and Move the indicator to MAX.

► Check "Set on boot".

► Dahan dahan lang ang pagmomove ng notch/slider. It should be one level per move until you reach the MAX as per DoomLord.

Here's the tutorial for 4.0.4

FIRST:

Go to settings > Security > Mark "Unknown sources"
Settings > Developer options > Mark USB debugging
Settings > Xperia > connectivity > USB connection mode > select MSC mode​

You should have Flashtool

1. Download this kernel first..

2. Go to C:/ Drive > flashtool > firmwares > delete everything present or Just add this kernel...
3. Run Flashtool

Instructions :

1. Download SystemUI.apk
2. Place the downloaded file in the root directory of your SDCARD.
3. Create a new folder in /system and move SystemUI.apk inside the newly created folder.
4. Tap and hold SystemUI.apk and set permissions as shown in the screenshot below :

Actually, may downside din ang cam ni N8. masyadong dark ang kuha nya. pero walang makakatalo sa MACRO nito. Landscape lang talo kapag low light scenes.

alam ko working din. baack read mo na lang jan yung mga user's feedback para sure.

mahalaga pala TALAGA ang rooting sa ANDROID...

yep. it's the same as jailbreaking in IOS. Maraming app ang magwowork kung nakaroot ang Android Phone.
