I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Kasi mayron akong hiniram na monitor/TV - 26" samsung ua26eh4000r sya.
Nakita ko 1366x768 lang yung resolution ang akala ko kasi lahat nang 22" pataas at 1080p na.
Ngayon nung sinubukan ko yung NBA2k12 - or any other games na nagrarun sa 1080p resu. Nakaya naman idisplay ni monitor yun nga lang napakaliwanag, yung crisp ng text ang pangit parang sabog, yung mga textures/grahics yung sharpness ang taas kumaga ang sakit na sa mata at pwede kana lumuha. Ganun ba talaga if you try to play 1080p resu sa 720p?? Pero kung iset mo naman sa 133x768 resu. ayun normal ang ganda ng itsura.

Ganito kasi balak ko bilhin kasi wala pa ako sariling monitor pero mukhang nagalangan na ako, hindi ko alam kung yung monitor lang ba talaga or ganun talaga itsure nya haha..

Mga boss last na po ito haha. Kailangan ko na pong build ay pang gaming at programming 17k po budget with no monitor at compatible sa samsung tv ko (hdmi). Kung pedepo intel at amd build po para compare ko specs..

good am mga ka symb. need ko mg set up ng desktop a.s.a.p. since kelangan nmin ng wife ko ng kanya kanyang pc. i have no plans of OC'ing my system and just needs it for browsing + mild / mediocre level of gaming. also priority ko is a LESS-power hungry system pra d nman nkakamatay ang bill ng meralco.. so i came up with this build. feedback n lng po kng ano s tingin nyo and kng may mas maganda kyong suggestion. btw budget ko pla is 13- 15k w/o monitor since plano nmin n bumili n lng ng LED tv.

ng canvass n din ako online ng price from famous local retailers and so far eto ang comparison..

[ have used asus for my previous p3 and p4 systems and was satisfied. asrock however offers more features and quite intrigued about it's XFAST features. also heard they have some sort of history/affiliation with asus and their quality is not that far off or even better in some cases. feedback on this is greatly appreciated.]

[ honestly i'm still not sure until now which one to pick. i read that GT430 is less power hungry compared to HD 5570 but delivers somewhat "lesser quality". i had a bad experience with ATI display adapters and quite reluctant to try it again unless this particular series is really stable. and malaki ba tlaga ang difference or step up from hd4330 [vcard ng laptop ko] to hd5570?

Malalaro mo naman most of the games. Dun sa build ay specifically pang smooth gameplay sa NBA 2K12 since sabi mo yun lang naman mga hilig mo, same reason why I chose that monitor. Enjoy maglaro ng 2k12 sa 1080p hehe.

Wala ako masyado alam in detail pag dating sa monitors lalo na kung LED TV hehe. Pero in general kasi pagpipili ka ng monitor for gaming ay aalamin mo yung native resolution. Yung monitor siguro na yan ay 720p ready lang.

What are the games you are planning to play? San po preferred location nyo to buy the parts? And wala ka nilagay na power supply at case, does that mean you have those already?

salamat sir, meron ako GTS 250 maganda ba to? bukas pa lang kasi ako bibili ng pc, kung okay na ung GTS 250 hindi na ako bibili ng GPU.

benta mo na lang yung gts250 mo kahit mga 2.5k then bili ka ng hd6670.. dx11 at power wise kung hd6670 since matipid sa kuryente ang llano mo... para maging power efficient ang rig mo but don't expect too much

kahit 2nd hand lang din na hd6670, may nagbebenta dito sa symb ng hd6670 na kakilala ko

aside from online games like PW and D3, mga hindi nman masyadong demanding n games SC 2, CDMW 1,2 & 3, Never winter nights 2. pero khit medium settings lng nman ayos na. as for the PS and case, generic lng then upgrade ko n lng if mag upgrade or palit ako ng parts in the future.
preferred location ko would be las pinas or makati. paranaque pde rin

- Sinama ko na isang true rated PSU. A generic PSU is okay pero di talaga sya highly recommended. Don't skimp out on the PSU pero it's your call kung gusto mo talaga mag generic.

Mukang AGP lang pede dyan. Punta ka sa TipidPC.com at dun ka tumingin dahil most stores don't sell AGP anymore.
