[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

@sir cold.ice yan bang nvidia geforce gtx 550ti maganda na pang gaming? i mean kaya na almost lahat ng games na latest? tsaka kaya po ba ng MAX settings sa BF3,2k13,SKYRIM,DIABLO 3,MAX PAYNE 3, mga ganyang games? sorry total newbie eh

tsaka magkano po ang true rated na PSU? ung pinaka mura na sana hehe pero magndang pang gaming din ung hinde puputok haha

btw , di ko masasabi na max lalo't latest games ang lalaruin mo at

lalo't bf3 lalaruin mo ,, graphic card hunger yan eh mga 8k-10k dapat card mo ,,

:ano pong pwede nyong ma suggest na laptop/netbook na i3 at price is from 20-25k?..pang light gamings lang po sana tulad ng warcraft or kung pwede 2k12

mag acer aspire one ka nalang bro yun nga lang amd sya pero maganda rin sa games nasubukan ko na ang nfs:mw sa kanya naka highest settings at walang lag. price nya sa gilmore 21k

@cold.ice anu pong masusuggest niyu na PSU na gamitin ko ung mura na sana at MONITOR?
tsaka about sa videocard ko bak mag gtx 550ti ako or kung meorn 7k na gtx 560(non ti) dun nalang ako, 9ka kasi ang gtx 560 ti eh

sa ibang parts ok na din po ba ung mga ibang parts?

better go for 6870
sa 7k may mabibili ka na nun 2nd hand 9k pa bnew nun

better go for 6870

7k highest na nakita ko 2nd hand
mostly 6k ang benta nila ,
yup mas malakas yung 6870 kesa 560(non ti)

9k for bnew ,,

may 6k lang din (2.5+ k save) hanap ka lang ng may magandang reputation sa tpc ..

yup compatible yan ,

afaik
intel + ati
AMD + Nvidia ?
and vice versa

my selling price is 3.2k

sabi nya add daw ako 1k ,, is that price reasonable ?

any recommended price para magkasundo kami ?

... AMD procei like A series may built in GPU na. Example AMD A8-3870k , quad core yan with built in GPU na HD 6550D . Malakas na yang built in na yan , pero kung dagdag ka ng discrete video card , dapat HD 6670 ang bilhin mo para ma gamit mo sa crossfire yan ...

Sir janzzon kahit saan maganda bumili... sa may project 7 ako may pcgilmore at pcexpress dun o kaya dun a sm annex..ty

Ginawan ko build kaso di maganda kinalabasan baka mabitin ka lang sa performance. Di na ba kaya mag ipon pa?

Kung ang tanong kaya, syempre kaya yan. Pero kung gusto mo i-max settings syempre hindi sarap naman nun kung nagagawa lahat ng 5k worth na video card hehe. Depende yan sa reso mo.

Depende sa brand at model at syempre kung saan store available. Di dapat tinitipid ang budget sa PSU

Tama naman hehe pero maraming factors pa yan.

- Mas maganda performance ng iGPU pag mataas frequency ng RAM kaya wag titipirin RAM pag APU ang gamit
- 6550D which is the highest GPU ng Llano ay halos kasing lakas lang ng HD 5570 / GT 430 if not mas mahina pa
- Kung main use ng rig ay gaming wala parin tatalo sa discrete GPU
- Good only for low resolution gaming 720p at most which is tama lang sa average pinoy dahil hindi naman lahat HD monitor gamit kaya lumalabas na sulit na sulit yung ganitong setup pero pag kinompare mo sa ibang bansa baka di ka na bumili nito hehe
- Magandang rig yung ganito sa tao na di naman masyado gaming ang focus pero more of a general purpose unit sa bahay at pili lang yung mga nilalaro at di maarte sa graphics kaya medyo attractive din ang maraming cores. Typical eye candy sa mga walang alam sa specs.
- Dual graphics ng APU ay maganda sa DX11 games otherwise walang use ito kung makalumang laro parin gamit mo tulad ng RO at dota. Kung di mo alam ang DX11 then might as well wag ka na mag dual graphics
- Kung sa una pa lang plano mo na mag dual graphics edi wag ka na mag APU
- 6550D + HD 6670 in dual graphics ay katumbas lang ng HD 6770 in DX11 games
- For the same price na dual core na Intel sandy bridge + discrete GPU laban sa quad core + built-in graphics ng llano for gaming talo ang A8-3870K dito for example
- APU ay hindi para sa gamers, depende yan sa tao kung ano ang budget at kung pano ito gagamitin. Kung tamang laro lang tamang tama to pero para sa maarte sa graphics bumili ka ng video card at mas malakas na processor.

Kung for general purpose lang na desktop sa bahay at pili lang ang games na laro , alin ang maganda ?

A. AMD A8-3870K with HD 6670 video card
B. INTEL sandy bridge dual core with discrete video card

kaya naman magipon pero ngloloko na kasi un pc ko ngyn bumabagal tpos ng freeze ng mga 10-20 secs pero bumabalik naman.. ano po ba un build nyo para maka adjust ako hehehe..salamat

@sir janzzon salamat po sir, pero 9k pa ata nag gtx560 ti eh, wala akong makitang nagbebenta ng 7k na 2nd hand

may alam ka bilihan ng 2nd hand na ganyan or mura na ganyang vid card? thanks in advance ilocos kasi ako walang bilihan dito ng ganyan na mura, sabi ata nila 10k+ sa gtx 560 ti
