Ok guys, since there are a lot of us final fantasy fans here in symbianize (I'm sure of it), I'm gonna make a poll on "whose the baddest badass boss you've ever fought in final fantasy". Feel free to leave your vote and your reason why you chose it.
First off, let me introduce the choices and their respective vital statistics (OR SHOULD I SAY "FATAL STATISTICS"

Emerald Weapon is an optional superboss in Final Fantasy VII's North American and PAL versions, as well as in its International edition, and one of the toughest of the five Weapons (the others are Ultimate, Diamond, Ruby, and the non-battled Sapphire). Emerald Weapon is released when Sephiroth summons Meteor; Weapons are released when the Planet is under grave threat, to work as its protectors. Emerald Weapon is one of the only two superbosses in the game, along with Ruby Weapon.
Emerald Weapon is located under the ocean, accessible by the submarine. A battle will ensue after making physical contact, although it is possible to avoid him by piloting the sub at its maximum height. The player will have 20 minutes to complete the battle unless they have the Underwater Materia equipped.
One of the things that makes Emerald a dangerous opponent is its Aire Tam Storm attack — "Aire Tam" is actually "Materia" spelled backwards, and the attack deals damage to each character equal to the amount of Materia equipped on them multiplied by 1,111. As such, having nine Materia or more equipped on a character means certain death. It is possible to manipulate the characters' Materia configuration as to get All Lucky 7s if a character only has two Materia equipped and 9999 HP. All Lucky 7s makes a character go berserk causing massive damage to either Emerald Weapon itself or its eyes.
Nemesis (Italian: Il Supremo, lit: The Supreme - Spanish: Summum, Latin for "the top, the max" - French: Être Suprême, lit: Supreme Being - German: Deus, Latin for "god") is a Superboss in Final Fantasy X created by the old man who runs the Monster Arena in the Calm Lands. Nemesis looks similar to Omega and Ultima Weapons. Often nicknamed "Omega Gold", it is the most durable and most challenging enemy in the game (with the exception of Penance in the PAL and International versions of the game), with 10,000,000 Hit Points and an array of spells and attacks that can instantly kill even the highest-level, best-equipped parties.

Trema is fought in the depths of the cloisters in Via Infinito. He is regarded as the Superboss in the game.

"Strongest of the scions created by the gods, they feared his growth, and so kept him a child. So indomitable is his strength that all things are by him twisted and pressed into oblivion. He alone fashions the laws governing all things, and administers punishment in place of the gods. So is he Keeper of Precepts, and his authority is absolute."Zodiark, Keeper of Precepts (戒律王ゾディアーク, Kairitsu Ou Zodiāku?, lit. Zodiark, King of Precepts), also known as Zodiac, is an Esper from the world of Ivalice. The Esper of Dark, he represents the Zodiac sign of Ophiuchus, the Serpent Holder. Zodiark is indeed a serpent, in the form that Ophiuchus is most commonly associated with, a snake. From his power of Dark, his color sign is Black. He is also referred to as the Ashlesha Ascendant, which is the Sanskrit name of its Zodiac sign as used in Jyotish (Hindu) astrology.
—Clan Primer Bio
It was formerly known as Serpentarius, the rare gem which can be stolen from Zodiark.
Zodiark made its first appearance as Zodiac in Final Fantasy Tactics, renamed Zodiark for the remake.
Omega Weapon is a superboss in Final Fantasy VIII. Generally regarded as the game's toughest boss, it is hidden within Ultimecia Castle. Omega Weapon is a re-texture of the Ultima Weapon though it carries no sword.
At level 100, Omega Weapon has more than 1 million HP. It is always at level 100 in the PlayStation version, but can be on any level in the PC version. After defeating it, the player unlocks the Proof of Omega in the game's help/tutorial section. The Proof of Omega congratulates the player for defeating Final Fantasy VIII 's toughest boss and is a sign showing complete mastery of the game's battle system.
To fight Omega, the player must place the chosen battle team on the switch point near the fountain and use the other team to ring the bell outside the gallery, which activates a short timer. The player must then switch back to the other team and locate Omega Weapon inside the chapel before the timer runs out.
Proto-Babil, along with Geryon, is one of the two exclusive superbosses in the DS remake of Final Fantasy IV. It can only be fought if the player stole the Dark Matter item from Zeromus on their previous playthrough and uses it on the face on the moon's surface. As its name implies, it is a prototype of the Giant of Babil.
Penance is the name of an exceedingly powerful optional boss found only in the PAL and International versions of Final Fantasy X, located in the Calm Lands, but fought on the deck of the airship. Penance is released after the eight (ten if you count the Dark Magus Sisters as separate Dark Aeons) Dark Aeons, who are also powerful optional bosses, have been defeated. It boasts 12,000,000 HP, high stats, elemental absorptions and powerful attacks, making it what might be considered the most dangerous boss in the game. In combat Penance is accompanied by its two arms which are able to act independently with similarly powerful abilities, with 500,000 HP each. The arms also regenerate a few rounds after defeat. Depleting this boss' Hit Points can take around one full hour.
In the Japanese, French, Italian, and German versions of the game, Penance was known as "Der Richter", which translates from German as "The Judge", fitting as it is considered the "last resort" of Yevon's attempt to subdue Yuna and her guardians for good, what with the Dark Aeons having failed. In the Spanish version the boss is called "Verdugo Final", which can be translated as "Final Executioner".
Yiazmat is the Ultimate Elite Mark in Final Fantasy XII. He is not only the ultimate mark, but also the ultimate boss. Defeating Yiazmat will take at least fifty minutes at very high levels and player skill; but the fight usually takes hours. He is considered to be one of the series' most difficult superbosses. To date, he has the highest number of hit points of any creature, boss, or superboss in the entire Final Fantasy series, with well over 50 Million hit points. This astronomically high number is the main reason he takes so long to kill, since regular attacks break the damage limit only in the game's International Zodiac Job System version.

Minerva (ミネルヴァ, Mineruva) is a character from Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-. Although her exact nature is not known in detail, she is related to the Planet's consciousness and may either be its personification or its goddess.
Described as "The existence that transcends all matter", she is interpreted to be the goddess mentioned in the LOVELESS poem, however, in terms of substance, she seems to be more similar to a Summon as it appears her purpose is to follow, or to represent, the intentions of the Lifestream.
When a new set of caverns, known as the Great Cavern of Wonders, is uncovered near the Northern Cave by the Shinra Electric Power Company, expedition teams from Shinra, Wutai, and Genesis all race to investigate. Zack Fair, who had been dispatched numerous times to the caverns to quell problems in the interest of Shinra, eventually discovers a way to go deeper into the caverns. The cave depths eventually become too dangerous for anyone other than Zack, who is ordered to investigate further due to the presence of a strange energy that causes monsters to become stronger and more vicious, as well as to cause machines to take on biological properties and attack their users.
Awaiting near the end of the caverns is Minerva in full battle armor, appearing as the strongest superboss in the game.

"The self-proclaimed guardians of law and order in Archadia. They’re the Elite Guard of House Solidor. Which effectively makes them the commanders of the Imperial Army."
—Balthier
The Archadian Judges in Final Fantasy XII are the de facto guardians of law and order in the Archadian Empire, making them in effect the nation's Supreme Court, and commanders of the Archadian military. They are also the elite guards of House Solidor. Judges are referred to as "Your Honour" by both outsiders and each other.
