sa mga rooted jan at custom roms gamit.... wag nio kakalimutan backup an ang EFS folder nio.... gumamit kau ng root explorer.apk para mkita nio ung efs at copy paste lng sa sd card ung external na.... para kung mging null man ang imei nio ohhhh mgstart sa 004xxxxxxxxx marerestore nio ung 356xxxxxx na imei nio at di maleleche signal nio....

you can also use the ROMs from the international version
kelangan mo lang yung specific kernel para sa device mo for it to work

SuperSU
Philz Touch Recovery for N7100

1. Copy yung UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.97.zip sa storage ng phone
2. patayin ang phone at pumasok sa Download Mode - Volume Down + Home + Power button
3. buksan ang Odin sa iyong computer
4. Connect ang phone sa PC at hintayin ang "Added!" message sa Odin at yung ID:COM box magiging blue
5. click ang AP at piliin philz_touch_6.26.6-n7100.tar.md5
6. uncheck ang Auto Reboot sa Odin
7. press Start sa Odin. hintayin ang PASS na message na may green background. Installed na yung Philz Touch recovery sa phone mo
8. disconnect ang phone sa USB ng PC. tanggalin ang battery at maghintay lang ng around 30secs to 1min bago ibalik. huwag paandarin
9. pindutin ang volume up + home + power button para pumasok sa recovery mode
10. pindutin ang Install zip from sdcard at hanapin ang UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.97.zip
11. confirm the installation at hintayin matapos. sandali lang naman yun
12. bumalik sa main menu ng philz recovery
13. piliin ang Reboot system at hintayin lang na mag-reboot ang phone mo

para makasiguro, after rebooting, pumunta sa app drawer ng phone at hanapin ang SuperSU na file.

"Samsung Knox has been detected. This might limit root capabilities and cause annoying popups. Try to disable KNOX."

Hit OK. You will now see the message KNOX has been successfully disabled. To further verify root access, download and install Root Checker app from Google Play store and run it.


author's note: napulot ko lang to after doing some research. mukhang same process din ng pag-root nung 4.3 update a few months back. di ko rin sigurado kung gagana ito sa lumang version (android 4.1.2)
be sure to make a backup of your EFS partition after rooting. remember that having a backup that your don't need is better than needing a backup that you don't have.

• Ano po ang Kernel? - read definition sa taas.
• Para saan po ba ang Kernel? - read definition sa taas. Basically, it's a link between the android OS and the phone's hardware.
• Anong Kernel ang i-install ko? - ang mga ROM ay may kasamang kernel para gumana ito. Mas mabuting basahin muna ang ROM installation guide at feedback ng ibang users ng napiling ROM kung meron man sila recommended na kernel na gagamitin. Otherwise, you can stick with what's included in the package. Pero kung alam mo na kung ano ang kelangan mong extra feature, saka ka mag-install ng custom kernel.
• Bakit ko kailangan mag-install ng custom kernel? - maraming extra features ang mga custom kernel na hindi mo magagawa sa stock kernel na kasama sa stock OS. Why we need EFS backup ?

EFS folder contains some important and basic information related to our device identity like Wi-Fi MAC address, Bluetooth MAC address and the very main IMEI number (nv_data.bin).
Now if this EFS partition accidentally gets corrupted, then your phone’s IMEI number will get erased and you can't make voice calls any further. This kind of damage is often not accepted by the service center of your respected handset’s company.

Nakakatuwa sana yung multi-window feature ng note 2 natin. problema lang, kokonti lang yung apps na supported ito. This guide will allow us to add all apps in our app drawer sa multi-window app list ng Note 2 natin.
Keep in mind lang na hindi lahat ng app gagana. Pwede nyo subukan kung alin gagana sa inyo and just give us some feedback. Required po na rooted ang phone nyo para magamit ang MOD na ito.

Step 1. Download ang 2 files na attached dito sa post ko. XposedInstaller_2.1.3 at XposedMultiWindow240

Step 2. Go to Settings -> Security and enable “Unknown Sources” on your Galaxy Note 2. (you can skip this step if you've already done this before)

Step 3. Gumamit ng file manager para mapuntahan yung mga files na na-download, tap it and install both files.

Step 4. Run yung Xposed Installer na app. Tap Install/Update tapos reboot yung phone.

Step 5. After Reboot, run ulit yung Xposed Installer na app, Punta sa Modules na tab at lagyan ng check yung xMulti Window Mod

look for dr ketan multi toll v6.zip but you still need to flash a custom recovery using odin either CWM or TWRP and this works for de knoxing and root... i hope you run stock rom on your phone.
