Steps:
- If not already installed, install the USB drivers. Download the drivers from PDAnet drivers.this thread on how to install PDAnet drivers.
- Enable USB debugging on your phone from Settings > Developer options
- Download and extract Auto Root package(mtk6589 pkg) in a folder on your PC
- Connect your phone
- Go to the folder you extracted Auto Root package(mtk6589 pkg) files and run the "run.bat" file by double clicking on it Press any key to continue
- Wait for process to finish and press any key again.
- Your phone will reboot automatically. Congratulations! You now have a rooted phone.
