[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.


also please put your requests in this format:

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

anu mas mahal ??? GA-EP45-UD3R o ga-ep45-ds3r or msi p45 zilent anu mas maganda!?

pinakamahal jan yung zilent, why? may kasamang zalman HSF. pinakamaganda? feeling ko pare-parehas na lang yan. pero sa gigabyte ako kasi may HSF na ako e.

INNO3D 8500GT 1GB

kingstone 1gb pc800 DDR2..

balak ko sana magpalit ng mobo..

any advise poh.. pang gaming lang..

sundan mo to. or for 2K bili ka mobo, ASRock G31M-S tapos sell your mobo... around 1K baka may kumagat. sell your VC na rin. then from the sales and the remaining 1-2K bili ka 9500GT DDR3 or 4670 DDR3, again depende sa natira... 3 and 4K ang presyo nun respectively.

Palagay ko mobo nalang buy mo. Kung vc naman meron namang cgurong 9600 gt para sa mobo mo.

Actually, preferred ko nlng ung hanggang 50k lng. kahit quad nlng muna at hindi na muna i7.

Kuya nybee, bigyan mo naman ako ng specs na best for gamings and photoshop yung hanggang 50k lang ang price range. para mga next month ay makabili na ako. SALAMAT po!

bibili po kame ulit ng mga pc, mga 5 para sa computershop namin...
ang budget ay 20k++ lang...
pa-help naman po...at kung anong shop kame bibili...ok lang kahit sa manila...nasa province kasi kame...yung pwede silang magservice pag nagkaproblema mga pc kahit pa dito sa province...

Palit/Inno3D, 'yan po 'yung brand.
Mas mura ng kaunti 'yung Palit kung medyo nagtitipid ka.

it really depends. could be a case fan, processor fan, hard disk power supply fan etc... an dami! i suggest making another thread about your problem. GL.

Mas mura ng kaunti 'yung Palit kung medyo nagtitipid ka.

gnun tlga bro, kahit brandnew, iba iba din ang prices...lalo na pag iba iba ang location...

example, mas mahal sa caloocan ng isang processor kesa sa gilmore ng mga 800-1k...normal yun...

guys may plano po ako e-upgrade ang PC ko sa bahay..

proc: AMD Sempron 1.6ghz
mobo: MSI VK - K9MM (di ako sure sa version basta MSI po yun)
VC: NVIDIA 5300GT
RAM: 2x 512mb corsair
HDD: 80 gig SATA (seagate ata yun)
Opt Drv: Samsung Lightscribe DVD-RAm
monitor: ASUS 17"

balak ko po kasi e-upgrade para maka laro ako ng mga latest games po..
ano po ba kailangan palitan dto?? plano ko kasi e-upgrade ko RAM, Processor, MOBO, Video card lang.. tama po ba?? para di masyado malaki ang gastos..

budget po: 10 - 13k

Procie: intel q8200 (Ok 'to pero I still prefer Q6600.)
mobo: intel DG 31PR (Go for P35/P31/G33/P45, plus 'wag po Intel kunin mo kung gusto mo mag-OC.)
mem: geil 2g pc800 (Go for Team Elite, P1500 lang.)
vc: palit 9500gt 1gb / 128bit (Kahit 256MB/512MB, ok lang, basta DDR3, useless kasi 1GB kung 'di naman gagamitin sa heavy tasks like video editing, or kung malaki po budget mo, mag-9600GT/9800GT ka na lang.)
