[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

- Ok ang ASRock. Di ka lang siguro familiar na market leader din yan as a mobo manufacturer.

- Prices came from different sellers sa Gilmore & Eton. OC GPU means factory overclocked, mas mabilis dun sa reference or in other words yung stock speed.

- Supported ng mobo yung i7 IB. For programming, i5 is already good. i7 kung graphics artist ka and ang main use mo ay editing at rendering. I also do abit of programming myself sa web design so I know.

If you can stretch around P200-P300 more mag Sapphire / PowerColor HD 5570 1GB DDR3 ka nalang. Otherwise ok na yan.

Cge po try ko din tumingin ng gnyang vidcard kaso, palagay ko po wala nyan dito sa area namin... Kung ganung man ok na naman ung gt220?? sana ok :thumbsup:

sa mga sagot mo sir.

tama ka sir, hindi ako gano kafamiliar sa asrock. pero as you said maganda siya edi yun na lang, tsaka mura pa. what if I change the mobo to Asrock z77 extreme 6? wala namang conflict sa specs na binigay mo? bale magbabawas ako ng mga hindi need like ODD and 1tb (500gb na lang, pangdadag gastos din)

i7 po kasi talaga target ko. ano kayang i7 ivy bridge ang pwede (model)? ok lang naman un diba? hindi naman siya conflict sa specs na bingay mo..

and sa GPU, maganda din ba brand na Sapphire? sorry for noob question

so if OC ung GPU, need pa ng cooler nun? wala kasi kami aircon, and since for gaming yung PC ko, pwede kaya ng pang matagalan un? ang alam ko kasi,kapag hindi OC, hindi siya ganun kadali maginit.

and yung specs na binigay mo, pwedeng pwede na to sa high res game diba? laptop lang kasi pinanggagame ko ngayon, kea mejo may adjustment sa settings hehe :excited:

kung pede palagay narin ng specs, compatibly, &limits.

boss ano po mga build ng computer? AMD po sana gusto ko yun nakakapag games ng medyo high end tapos ok sa pang DL ng files for everyday use po kasi sawa yun laptop eh baka sumuko T.T . budget10-15k.. salamat po

- Yung cpu at mobo na binigay ko ay sakto na sa build na yun. If you go for a Z77 mobo, advisable na palitan mo yung cpu narin for an unlocked CPU (yung may K sa dulo). i7-3770K for example since gusto mo tlaga ng i7. If you go for that route get the ASRock Z77 Extreme4. Yung Extreme6 kasi minimal lang difference sa features pero malaki difference sa presyo.

- Ok ang Sapphire dahil premium manufacturer yan ng AMD based GPUs.

- Pag factory overclocked GPU it means stable na yun. No need for any cooler. You can still overclock it further on your own. Don't worry sa issue ng heat. Kung average gamer ka lang (stock settings) it will withstand even on a 24/7 use.

- Pwede na yan sa high resolution 1920x1080

meron na po akong LCD monitor so solid na 15k budget ko sa system unit xD

i'm an LG fan pinakamalinaw para skn.. samsung ok din basta ung LED ha.. pag LCD wasak pixels nila haha.. better to check narin ung max resolution ng monitor na yan compare mo sa GPU standard/maxed out reso para sulit ang bili mo hehe
