[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.


also please put your requests in this format:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Sir anu po ba disadvantage kung generic lang ang casing?

Pwede ka naman mag generic casing all the way kung average user ka lang. Disadvantage siguro yung iba di nagagandahan sa quality at looks. Lahat naman tayo dumaan dyan hehe. Some would argue di maganda cooling etc. pero depende yun sa use mo. If you can afford one edi ok otherwise generic casing will still do the job.

sir janzzon supported po ba ang socket 775 ng mobo na to ASRock H61M-HVS

Hindi po, pang 1155 lang yan.

pero halos mga branded na casing may good airflow na kailangan ng system..

u mean fan?or cpu?

kung lga 775 hsf - NO
kung procie - NO

may ibang mobo na suported ang lga775 hsf like asrock pro3 gen3 z68

Medyo subjective kasi ang case from person to person.

Tingin ka nalang from these manufactuers:
- Antec
- Cooler Master
- Corsair
- Fractal Design
- NZXT

Price vs. Features ok kasi ang ASRock. Asus at Gigabyte may kamahalan lang pero all three ay ok na mobo manufacturers.

baka nman po sa internet connection nyo.. ganyan po kasi dito sa shop kpag maraming nagyYOUTUbe..

malagg po tlga kpag less IC

ndi po sa internet wala po kc talga video card slow motion po kc sya...help naman wala talga kac salpakan ng video card 2 pc.asar nga eh maaayus pa kaya 2...

medyo mataas presyo jan ...
alam ko sa gilmore maraming store dun bukod jan sa dalawa na yan .. so baka maisipan mo pa sa iba sayang din matitipid mo

pede na pang gaming to dba? 2nd hand kasi to papuntang canada yung nag bebenta 13k nga lang benta eh pati bahay nila binebenta na baka gusto nyo ! haha
