Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.


An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

sir janzzon pa build daw po friend ko ng rig 30k excluding monitor rig lang. preferred cpu is i5 2500k. and 1 tb HDD no ODD po. thanks

master janzzon , ano po ba magandang upgrade sa headphoens , ung virtual 7.1 na di ginagamit ang soundcard like logitech g35 and megaladon or ung mga true 5.1 gaya ng roccat kave . ano po ba ang best choice , let's assume the mobo is z77 extreme 4 , di ko pa kasi na uupgrade mobo at procie ko mauuna ung headset pero sana khit pag palit ko ng mobo panalo padin . thanks in advance

Di kaya ng budget, panget kalalabasan nyan kung pipilitin.

Wala ako masyado alam sa ganyan, sulit nko sa 2.1 speakers haha. Pero kung ako bibili ng headset yung Razer Carcharias ang target ko. Nag tingin tingin na din kasi ako dati, eto yung nag standout based on several reviews.

orayt thanks sa suggestion , xenxa na medyo malayo na din sa mga topic ung tanong hehe check out ko ung model na yan master, wala din aksi ako tlga kaalam alam sa headphones , earphones lng ng ipod ang gamit ko ngaun haha 2.1 din , personally maganda na ang 2.1 lalo na nung napakingan ko ung virtual haircut imba pla ang nagagawa ng 2.1 , parang na eengganyo lng tlga ako hehe

ok bro pa build nalang regardless of budget basta preferred cpu is i5 2500k. and 1 tb HDD with ODD.

use. hard gaming. video streaming photo editing. multitasking

Ah, why 64bit sir? applicable po ba kaya mga games ko sa 64bit? di po kaya mag coconflict?

Sir nagbago na po budget ko 20k with monitor, android development with gaming(nba 2k12 etc)
Kung kaya i3 po sana. OK lang sa akin kahit panget monitor basta maganda specs ng system unit

- Yung cpu at mobo na binigay ko ay sakto na sa build na yun. If you go for a Z77 mobo, advisable na palitan mo yung cpu narin for an unlocked CPU (yung may K sa dulo). i7-3770K for example since gusto mo tlaga ng i7. If you go for that route get the ASRock Z77 Extreme4. Yung Extreme6 kasi minimal lang difference sa features pero malaki difference sa presyo.

- Ok ang Sapphire dahil premium manufacturer yan ng AMD based GPUs.

- Pag factory overclocked GPU it means stable na yun. No need for any cooler. You can still overclock it further on your own. Don't worry sa issue ng heat. Kung average gamer ka lang (stock settings) it will withstand even on a 24/7 use.

- Pwede na yan sa high resolution 1920x1080 :)

sir bakit need pa ng unlocked CPU sa AsRock Extreme 4? hindi ba pwede ung i7-3770 lang? :noidea:

CASE: Gigabyte GZ-F3/F6
PSU: Antec VP450
GPU: HD5570 or any suggestion within that price range
HDD and ODD: No need

boss ako gamit ko for 6years un Seagate Barracuda eh.. ok naman sya... pero tingin ko sa price lang sila nag ka talo .. ok din naman un WD
