I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

120k is,for me, TOO OVERKILL XD
an i7 3770k
a GTX 690
16GB of RAM
800-1000W of PSU (platinum)
And you're good to go and already future proof. SLI or CF, for me, is too overrated as no games yet uses the full potential of a 690 and I highly doubt any game soon will do as games are still held back by the current consoles. i7 990X or any of the extreme edition is also overrated as i7 3770k is already enough for your gaming needs. Even a in a 3-monitor set up, 690 is enough.

mga sir sana matulungan nyo aq i-upgrade tong unit ko...gusto ko kc sana magdagdag ng mabilis n Video card para makalaro ng latest games like NBA 2k13...saka sana matulungan nyo aq ung sa mga tweaks para kahit papaano mautilize ko lahat...lalo n ung sa memory...meron kc aq nabasa about sa dual channel pero hndi ko un maintindihan eh...patulong n lng po...TIA

To the two guys before, always tell us the resolution you want to play the game as we will base the performance of the GPU on that and of course always tell us your budget.

To everyone, read the guidelines on the 1st page before asking anything as we cannot help you if you don't post the needed information.

Anong games po ba lalaruin nyo? And ilang watts po ung PSU nyo? Oo ang ganda nyang 660 Ti. Ung GTX 660 nga lang pamatay nah, ung Ti pa kaya? hehehe

Mas lamang kasi ang 7950 compared sa 660 Ti. In most cases 7950 > 660 Ti. 7850 = GTX 660Ti in terms of performance benchmarks..

Ang advantage lang ng GTX 660Ti over 7950 eh ung Cuda at PhysX, pero dpenede na sayo un kung anong games lalaruin mo.

Sir compatible lang ba yun 660 ti sa mobo ko at procie? ahmm 500 watts po psu ko sir sir ehm gta 4 ,medal of honor ,maxpayne6 ,spec ops the line sir tapos marami pa sir hehehe ok lang ba yung video card sir 15k budget ko lang ,

That came so expensive here in GENSAN.. i know its not that great,.but this is the only psu i can find here..and others are all generic,.meron din namang cougar st 500w,at gigabyte superb 460,,pero ito pinili ko...

Sir pa need advise po sa paguupgrade ng memory ng pc ko... current po kasi gamit ko ay kingston 2GB DDR3 1333 po...pwede ko po bang dagdagan ang memory gamit ang 1pc na kingston 4GB DDR3 1333 para maging 6 gb lahat lahat? ang mobo ko po ay ecs h61h2-m2

tsaka po pala eto pa intel i3 2100 po ang proc ko..bili po sana ako ng dedicated na graphics card pwede po ba ang 7770 sakin patulong nadin po sa pagpili ng PSU wala kasi akong true rated na PSU thanks

i3 + HD 7770 a true rated 450W PSU can handle that setup.

Binabalak ko sanang bumili ng video/graphi card for gaming. Ano po bang magandang bilhin ? yung hindi naman aabot ng 5k . Thanks in advance

Ok na yan. Get GTX 650 Ti is the better performer and HD 7770 has lower power consumption. If you get the HD 7770, magandang i-overclock yan dahil Vapor-X cooling

120k kakapusin sa superset-up ng intel core i7 3960x pero kapag average set-up swak na swak with 32-inch m0nitor yay nakakapaglaway ung set-up naun hehe

Was looking at shops earlier and didn't find a single gtx 690

Will this setup work or there will be a bottleneck somewhere? Also kinda worried if this would be hard to OC.
