Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

:) ... Sir same lang price ng dalawang GPU , pero yong mobo mo medyo hindi maganda ang reviews. If you have time read on the reviews of your mobo to get more infos ... :dance:

Mga boss pls comment po sa build na to if ok for gaming,,please suggest po if swak na build nito kasi eto yung narecommend sa shop dito sa amin, kasi not available yung mga parts na nasuggest ng mga masters po dito.

I know malaki budget mo para video card pero sa ganyang setup ideally HD 7850 @8kphp or GTX 660 Non-Ti @10kphp

I would not go more than that.

okay naman po xa, for entry level nga lang.. Maganda sana kung maupgrade mo ung Processor mo. Not sure, pero bka mabottle neck kasi ng processor ang Video Card mo, sayang din. tsaka ung PSU mo, Cooler master, although branded xa, hindi ata Rated yan eh.. Other than that, okay naman..

Sir ung "Ti" po is a designator used by Nvidia to indicate that a specific model has a better performance than it's Non Ti counterpart. So a "Ti" version will have more shaders than a "Non Ti" version, meaning a Ti version will be about 15-20% better.

About sa tanong mo naman, IMO, mas maganda ang 7950 (kahit tignan mo sa mga benchmarks) pero agree rin ako kay sir jenner29, sa ganyang setup kasi, bka mabottle neck ng procy mo ang 7950 or 660 Ti. Core i3 lang kasi ang procy eh.. Kaya hindi mo rin ma-uutilize ang full potential ng 7950 or 660Ti.

Wow may 60gb SSD pa.. Maganda na po yan sir for 15k. ung video card lang ang medyo bitin jan, pero other than that, it looks good na.

madali lang po, tignan nyo sa manufacturers website ung dimension ng PSU na bibilhin nyo, then tignan nyo rin ung dimension ng casing nyo tapos calculate nyo kung kasya.. ganun lang po :)

Sir, ung mobo nyo eh capable of supporting AM3+ and FX-series processors naman po bsta iupdate nyo lang ang bios. So pwede po kayo mag AMD Athlon II X3 455 3.2ghz. Pangit kasi reviews ng Bulldozer series kaya hindi ko xa nirerecommend :P Kung gusto nyo naman po mag Phenom, tanong nalng po kayo sa mga masters natin dito, hindi po kasi ako ganun ka knowledgable pagdating sa AMD, Intel kasi setup ko :P

mobo : ASUS p8h61m-LE
mem : Kingston 2GB ram ddr3
or
proc: AMD A4-3400 Llano 2.7GHz Socket FM1 65W Dual-Core
mobo: Emaxx A55 or Biostar A55 MLV
ram: BRANDED PATRIOT 2GB DDR3 1333MHz

since may work ako online mas prefer ko po yung mas ok sa multi tasking apps like skype, chrome, team viewer, excel etc. and im working for 10 hours a day. But still gusto ko din naman ung good for gaming for games NBA2k13, Dota and SF. 8k po ung price nung 2 cpu sa taas. please give me advice mga master.

Mas maganda po ung option 1. Ang Llano kasi is more for gaming. Pero AFAIK, kahit sa gaming mas maganda pa rin ang i3-2100. Isa pa, as you said, kung multi tasking, mas lamang ang i3 kasi may Hyper Threading xa, so kahit dual core lang xa, it actually acts like a quad core. Even I myself, use the i3-2100. Mas maganda din ang mobo ng option 1. ASUS > Emaxx. Ang top manufacturers kasi ng MOBOs eh ASUS, Gigabyte, at Asrock. And FYI po, branded din ang Kingston na RAMs. And most importantly, madali lang naman iupgrade ang RAM lalo na't DDR3 xa, di hamak na mas mura kesa sa mga DDR2 RAMs.

P.S.
Kung gusto mo maglaro ng NBA2k13, kailangan mo ng dedicated video card. Hindi sapat ang onboard lang. :P

:) ... If you like multi tasking , better go for a quad core processor , like AMD A8-3870k with ASUS mobo . Yong procei na yan with built in GPU na HD 6550 D , kaya ok na sya kahit wala ka discreet GPU... :dance:

:) ... Sir just like dun sa una kong message sayo , go for HD 7950 .. and if you like PHENOM II x4 mas ok ito kaysa sa FX series AMD . Kung mag i7 ka naman , mas ok din ang HD 7950... :dance:
