what is wrong with my grammar?
why does everytime i go for a try on a bpo i always got that same issue..
But still, that won't stop me! I'm still going for my dream job. I think there are at least 1500 more companies to try on..

-- coz it is really different when you're saying it rather than writing it.. you have lesser time to think on what to say.. plus during the interview you have that tense/nervous feeling so there will be lots of lapses and mistakes.. practice more to gain confidence for your next interviews.. try and try! like what you mentioned there are so many BPO companies around.. goodluck!

-- agree ako sayo.. dami alam ni polmartin,, parang may research center siya tungkol sa call center..

first try, i failed.. The interviewer said dat if im n0t g0nna recieve any text and calls by the next day it means i did n0t pass the interview.. All in a sudden, i did n0t recieve any inf0rmati0n fr0m them T_T he said my ideas were gud and the way i speak was spontane0us but i need to impr0ve my accent to make it in an american way and corrected me for s0me w0rds that i mispr0n0unced during our c0nversati0n.. I was really expecting for a gud outc0me bc0z i did n0t receive any bad c0mment fr0m the interviewer haiz.. Maybe bcoz of dat questi0n in their applicati0n f0rm asking if am i always available anytime.. My answer was NO Bc0z i d0 have class on day time and i prefer to work a night time.. Does it affect my applicati0n? Huhu!

-- yeah.. most of the BPO companies really require a full time agent.. plus attendance is really a MUST on this job..

Hi guy's I'm a first timer. I really want to work in a BPO company. I might apply this july. any tips from the experts and what the best BPO company nowadays. thanks!

-- tips?? work more on your communication skills first and foremost.. and for the best company.. well, there are big names like convergys, teletech, teleperformance, IBM, telus, APAC, HSBC, PeopleSupport, 24/7 etc.. there are so many to mention but there are new companies and smaller ones which is much better than those companies i mentioned.. try to ask first for some feedback from the people already employed in the company before you proceed on your application.. so to not waste your time..

whew! heheh im getting nervous! :] ngulat ako,naginquire lng aq tapos nireplyan ako,monday na daw interview ko! wla pa nmn akong reference person! :[ pero anyway excited ako na parang ewan..it's my very first time to be in an actual interview.. >.<" hehe. any tips po? to kill nervousness? hehe.. wish me luck guys! thanks sa thread n ito,especially kay TS! update ko nlng kau guys if wat's gonna happen with me and my resume hehe. waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! btw, sa ExcelAsia ung interview ko, for TSR/ non voice.

-- mabilisan po kasi talaga ang hiring process sa BPO.. and they treat every people inquiring about the company as an applicant.. kaso di ko alam process ng hiring sa ExcelAsia at pati interview.. pero may nabanggit na tungkol diyan dito.. gaya ng sabi ni polmartin.. backread ka lang po..

Free time ko ngayon.. Di kasi ako pumasok ngayon ng shift ko na 10.30pm - 7.30am.. ang hirap pala.. nagkakasakit na ako.. haha! nabigla yata yung katawan ko sa lifestyle na ganito.. tapos nung wednesday shift nag Restday overtime ako (200% kasi yung bayad)..

Anyways, kwkwento lang ako.. Sa Teletech makati ako (CLEARWIRE ACCOUNT) nagulat talaga ako na maghahandle din pala kame ng Billing, akala ko pure Technical lang, kaya ayan sanay na yung tenga ko sa mga Galit na Galit na customer.. hehe..

By the way, kahapon nagcacalls ako may lagnat ako at namamalat pa yung lalamunan dahil sa 100++ na Que ng mga calls.. (Grabe kailangan pa namin ng agents.. hehe)

Ang masaklap pa dun, bigla akong sininok habang nag cacalls.. alam niyo sabi nung kausap ko sa telepono? (African American siya tapos babae)

-- gaya ng sabi ko talagang mahirap sa una dahil ang daming adjustments.. lalo na kung di ka sanay sa puyatan.. ingatan ang health dahil importante yan sa ganitong trabaho..

mas marami ka pang funny moments na mae-encounter pag tumagal ka.. saka kahit sa billing/CSR may technical concerns din na hina-handle.. may sales at upgrades pa.. FCR kasi ang habol eh,, saka bawas ng transfer.. hehe!

yan yung sweldo mo base sa huling mga araw na pinasok mo base sa cutoff ng payment niyo.. let's say pumasok ka pa ng nine days.. so yun sweldo mo for those 9 days iho-hold na nila yan at ibibigay as back pay.. pero may company na pati yung last whole cutoff ay hino-hold na pag nag-resign ka.. yan ang alam ko..

..it's fine if your undergrad coz they are really not particular with the educational background., well that's a plus factor indeed however you can gain positive points using your skills and abilities.. tell them what you can do for them to hire you., one issue that they will look into is your plan in the future specifically if you are going to pursue your studies., my advise for you is to tell them that once you got hired then you'll work hard to be successful on this field., you'll aim now for a higher position and with that you no longer need to continue your studies since that will just be waste of money and time., coz they are looking for a long time commitment with their company..

apply lang ng apply pag di ka tinanggap tanong mo kung bakit? e kung ayaw me magagawa ka ba!? move to the next company. pag naiinterview kayo hr lahat ng mga pag aalinlangan nyo tungkol sa proseso, sa sweldo,facility, schedule, yung site na san kayo mag work atbp..... itanong nyo na wag kayo mahiya libre ang magtanong. bago kayo ma-isalang sa interview ilista nyo sa papel lahat ng gusto nyo itanong para di nyo makakalimutan kayo din ang talo pag di kayo nagtanong.

apply lang ng apply pag di kayo tinanggap wag na magtanong dahil alam nyo sa sarili nyo kung sino kayo at hanggang saan lang kayo pwera nalang kung sobrang galing mo pero binagsak ka! may mga call center kasi na palpak ang agents and other staffs sa english language pero nagbabagsak parin at meron din naman na kahit sablay ka eh pasok ka lalo na kung kulang ang agents nila sa floor pero may mga na-experience ako na YMMV ang labanan at kailangan talaga na mukha kang uto-uto

since nov. naka 3 call centers na ako, yung 2 assholes ang mga naging bossing ko may favoritism at pabaya at sa 1 naman contract problem..

ingat nalang din sa mga bpo companies na nambibiktima lang like APAC, may contract na ako and start dapat July 11 pero cancelled next month nalang daw no definite time

-- yeah that's possible.. coz sometimes they can adjust your schedule but not all the company do that so you need to find someone to whom you can swap or trade your assigned schedule..

-- they preferred full-time worker..

-- Aegis PeopleSupport is my first company and the management is just fine.. they are not that strict and that's what i like from them..

tama! bago niyo pirmahan ang contract basahin niyo muna at siguraduhing naintindihan ang nilalaman dahil may mga hidden statements na nakasaad pero di naman in-explain upon signing.. check the content especially yung mga policies, bond, roles at siyempre benefits nila..
